Can Counselling really help?

Absolutely, Counselling can really help you to work through feelings, fears and problems, especially when they feel too big to deal with alone.

It allows you to talk through your problems and difficulties with a neutral person who is there to listen and understand, with no sense of judgement.

It’s about working out what your problems are, gaining some under understanding of them and finding a way to solve or accept what is happening and move forward in your life.

Therapy is about supporting and fostering a your ability to focus and understand not what is ‘wrong’ with them, but what is ‘right’ with them.

Sessions can be short or long term, depending on your needs.

Fees for the session are from £50 per hour.

Can counselling really help me?

I can offer you a chance to drop the brave face, carrying on as if everything is fine and the pretending everything is great and take a good look at what is really going on in your world.

In our sessions we can explore, reflect, and work out what the problems are and gain some clarity around how you feel and build some confidence to make some changes. Together we can get you back at the helm, with a better understanding of where you are headed and how you are going to get there.

I can offer short term counselling (around 8 weeks), but this often translates into longer term work, depending on the issue.
