Online working has become very popular in the last year as it has offered a safer way to work during the Covid 19 crisis. Working online or on the phone, can be just as effective as face to face sessions and makes counselling and accessing support easier in these difficult times. As long as you have somewhere private to sit for our appointments, you can fit your sessions around your work or childcare, from your own front room or even in your car if you have a full house.
Can Counselling really help?
Absolutely. It allows us to talk through our problems and difficulties with a neutral person who is there to listen and understand, with no sense of judgement.
It’s about working out what our problems are, gaining some under understanding of them and finding a way to solve or accept what is happening and move forward in our lives.
Therapy is about supporting and fostering a client’s ability to focus and understand not what is ‘wrong’ with them, but what is ‘right’ with them.
Sessions can be short or long term, depending of the needs of the client.
Fees for the session are from £50 per hour.
Can counselling really help me?
I can offer you a chance to drop the brave face, carrying on as if everything is fine and the pretending everything is great and take a good look at what is really going on in your world.
In our sessions we can explore, reflect, and work out what the problems are and gain some clarity around how you feel and build some confidence to make some changes. Together we can get you back at the helm, with a better understanding of where you are headed and how you are going to get there.
I can offer short term counselling (around 8 weeks), but this often translates into longer term work, depending on the issue.
